Who developed Marina Bay City
Marina Bay City is a Lombok project made up of residences and a resort. Its developers are PT Marina Bay Investments and PT Bali Real Estate Investments.
Christina Natalia and Jamie McIntyre sit on the management boards of those two companies.
Kinnara's role in Marina Bay City
Kinnara, the property marketplace I founded, marketed and listed the project. Its job was to advertise the villas, and buyers found their property through Kinnara.
Kinnara was never the seller. Each purchase contract was between the buyer and the developer companies. Neither Kinnara nor I was a party to them.
That is how Kinnara works with every developer it lists. It markets the project, and the sale itself sits between the buyer and the developer.
Why I reported the developer and withdrew
The relationship broke down in October 2025. By then I was worried about the way the developer was treating buyers.
I put the investors ahead of the deal. Kinnara's first report to the Indonesian police was made in November 2025, and since then Kinnara has helped buyers in their dealings with the police and with Australian authorities.
I would not continue to work alongside Mr McIntyre. I left the project and resigned the roles I held in it.
Kinnara does not work with him, or with any company of his, in any capacity.
The smear campaign that followed
A campaign against me started shortly after my reports. It has included:
- a book;
- paid "news" pieces on websites made to resemble international newspapers;
- look-alike websites using my name;
- repeated posts sent to Kinnara's clients.
I believe Jamie McIntyre orchestrated that campaign in response to my reports. I have taken him to the Federal Court of Australia over it.

QUD 273 of 2026 in the Federal Court
The case number is QUD 273 of 2026. Its history so far:
- May 2026. The court granted an interim injunction.
- August 2026. The injunction was discharged on procedural grounds. The court made no finding on the merits.
- Now. The proceedings are continuing.
I won't comment on the evidence or on where the case may go while it is before the court.
Anyone who has come across the articles about me can check them against the facts on this site. My account of past failures is part of that. It sets out my own history, in my own words, including every penalty.
What this page will and won't do
This page sets out my position as of the date of this statement. It does not link to the articles that attack me, even to answer them, because linking would only send readers and search engines their way.
It also gives no figures on buyers' money and does not discuss any individual villa. Buyers should get those answers from the developer company named on their contract, and from their own lawyer.
Kinnara Capital's West Lombok land is separate
Lombok never began or ended with Marina Bay City for us. Kinnara Capital, the development business I lead, has its own land in West Lombok. Part of it is at Buwun Mas in Sekotong.
None of that land is connected to Marina Bay City. Kinnara Capital will develop it under its own governance, using its own contractors and controls. Saraya Beach Resort & Residences will be the first project on it.
The area itself is described on the Sekotong and Buwun Mas page.
Advice for Marina Bay City buyers
For anyone who bought a villa at Marina Bay City, these are the steps I'd suggest.
- Check your contract. The party to it is whichever developer company is named in it.
- Write to that company. Ask it, in writing, for the status of your villa.
- Get independent legal advice. Use a lawyer who acts only for you.
- Tell the authorities about any loss. Report it to the Indonesian police and to the Australian Federal Police.
- Keep a record. Hold on to copies of your contract, receipts and every message, and keep notes of each call.
