Prestige Pinnacle Realty in brief
The agency sells high-end residential property. Its work splits into two services: managing exclusive sales campaigns for prestige homes, and running advanced sales training for agents.
Campbell took on the role of Managing Director in 2020. Current listings are on the agency's site, pprealty.com.au.
Managing exclusive sales of prestige homes
Under an exclusive agency agreement, one agency alone holds the right to market and sell a home for an agreed term. Each Australian state and territory regulates how those agreements work and how long they may last.
Prestige sales work differently from everyday ones. High-end buyers are fewer, truly comparable sales are rare, and interested buyers are often interstate or overseas.
Campaigns at this level usually rely on:
- professional photography, video and printed material
- private inspections booked around each buyer
- careful pricing advice, because an unrealistic first price can stall a campaign
- discreet approaches to known buyers before, or instead of, public advertising
Sellers of prestige homes often value privacy, so how a campaign handles inspections and information can matter as much as how widely it advertises.
Sales management covers the whole run: appraisal, the marketing plan, inspections, regular reports to the seller, and the negotiation at the end. Managing exclusive sales in this way is the agency's main line of work.
Ways prestige homes are sold in Australia
Choosing the method of sale is one of the first decisions in any prestige campaign. The common options are:
- Private treaty: the home is listed with a price or price guide, and buyers make offers.
- Auction: buyers bid in public on a set day. Auctions are especially common in Melbourne and Sydney.
- Expressions of interest: buyers submit written offers by a closing date, an approach often used for unusual homes that are hard to price.
- Off-market: the home is shown only to selected buyers, with no public advertising.
The right choice depends on the property, the likely buyers and how much privacy the seller wants. Part of an agent's job is explaining those trade-offs before the campaign starts.
Advanced sales training for agents
Anyone selling property in Australia needs a licence or registration from their state or territory. That establishes the legal basics, but it does not teach the finer skills a high-value sale demands.
Advanced training covers that ground. Typical topics include appraisal and pricing, negotiation, handling objections, keeping sellers informed, and steering a campaign from listing to settlement.
At Prestige Pinnacle Realty this training is one of the agency's two core services, offered alongside sales management.
Adrian Campbell at Prestige Pinnacle Realty
As Managing Director, Campbell sets the agency's direction and oversees both services.
His own background suits it. He names sales and marketing among his strongest skills, second only to capital raising. His qualifications include a Diploma of Property, as well as an advanced diploma in financial planning and a diploma in credit management.
Agents sit at the centre of his other work too. Kinnara, the marketplace he founded in 2021, has upwards of 15,000 agents listing property, and it charges them no commission on sales.
How Prestige Pinnacle Realty fits with his other businesses
Campbell's property interests go well beyond the agency.
He has also sat on the board of Earthcon Civil as a Director since 2021. Earthcon is a civil contractor that prepares the ground for new developments, including house site cuts. One business deals with land before a home exists; the other sells high-end homes once they are built.
Since 2017 he has led Australasia Marketing as its Managing Director. That company handles development projects and short-stay rentals across Southeast Asia.
